Artwork Upload/Submission
Thank you for your purchase of ad space in the African American history cultural calendar. Please use the following file upload form to submit your artwork. Please note the specifications listed corresponding to your purchase. If you need assistance with this process or would like to transfer the files, another way, please contact:
Business Card 3-1/2” x 2”
Half-Page 4-1/2” x 3-1/4”
Full Page 4-1/2” x 7-1/2”
All ad files to be setup as greyscale or bitmap format,
300 dpi with exception of back cover, inside front/back files which need to be setup in CMYK high quality print format.
PDF — (Preferred) Press/high quality, fonts embedded or outlined.
Illustrator (.ai) — All links included with fonts, outlined or converted to paths.
InDesign (.indd) — File packaged with font outlines or converted to paths. Images included in package.
Photoshop PDF — Fonts included.
JPG — Black & white ads only, 300 dpi.
Ad Proofs: Hard copy proof of the ad, PDF or scan must accompany all artwork to ensure accuracy for submitted files.
Approval Proofs: Not given unless SPECIFICALLY requested.
Artwork Design: Rates are based on ad material being provided by the client and do not include art design or production of the advertisement. Advertisers providing any materials requiring work will be billed for the cost of production at an hourly rate of $60/hour.
Copy Responsibility:
Submission of copy is the responsibility of the advertiser or agency. Copy from the last insertion will be run if new copy is not received by closing date. If there is not a previous insertion, the client is liable for the cost of contracted space not used, and space will be allocated at the discretion of the publisher.
Copy Authorization:
All advertisements are accepted and published upon representation that the party placing such materials is authorized to publish any and all such material. In consideration of acceptance, the advertiser and/or agencies agree to indemnify and hold the publisher harmless from and against any loss or expense on claims based upon the subject matter of such advertisements.
Copy Acceptance:
Publisher reserves the right to reject any advertising. Any reference to the African American History Month Cultural Events Calendar in advertisements, promotional material or merchandising by advertiser or agency is subject to prior written approval by the publisher.
