This workshop will focus on how to use online church records to search for enslaved ancestors—in particular, a database of Catholic baptismal records created by the local non-profit organization, Reckoning, Inc.
This workshop will be conducted by Denyce Peyton, a professional genealogist with over 25 years of experience who is currently Project Director for Reckoning, Inc.’s Kentucky U.S. Colored Troops Project.
