Louisville Opportunity Zone Showcase

Kentucky African American Heritage Center
August 7, 2019  |  4:00 pm – 6:30 pm

The Opportunity Zones, a newly created economic development tool, provide significant tax incentives to investors in exchange for investing equity into highly distressed low income communities. After a year and a half into the programs existence, the time has come to direct the attention to driving private capital into communities in need in the 144 for Kentucky opportunity zones, 19 of which are located specifically in Metro Louisville.

The Louisville Opportunity Zone Showcase will bring together stakeholders, including potential opportunities on investors, fund managers, project sponsors, government and community development agencies and philanthropic leaders, with the purpose of connecting capital, qualified assets investors. The event will consist of eight presentations that will be 15 minutes each by Qualified Opportunity Funds and Project Sponsors.

A registration fee of $25 to RSVP or at the door.
